A fast Google seek for Sen. Kamala Harris’s home turns up pictures of a three-bedroom home in a quiet enclave close to downtown Sacramento, Calif.
The Senator doesn’t dwell there. As a substitute, it’s house to David DeLuz, a director of the California Faculty Boards Affiliation, and his spouse Kamala DeLuz, whose maiden identify, it seems, was Harris.
Mr. DeLuz says the couple often receives letters from the general public meant for the Senator, which they hardly ever open for concern of “somebody sending ricin or one thing,” a fear which may develop now that Sen. Harris has been chosen as Joe Biden’s operating mate within the presidential race.
After they did by chance open one lately, it was a “a man writing on behalf of him and his brother asking for photos of the senator—and asking her to cross one other stimulus invoice,” Mr. DeLuz laughed. The couple saves up the correspondence and sends it to Sen. Harris’s workplace each few months.
